My first experience of skiing was before I can remember, aged only four. I was very fortunate to go skiing each year with my family, and have skied with them in a variety of different resorts across Europe, as well as a very memorable trip to Mammoth Mountain in California, which was my first experience of skiing outside of Europe.

After leaving school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to study at university so instead decided to work my first ski season as a Chalet Host, and I have been working in the ski industry ever since. On my return to the UK, I got my first office job working as a Travel Consultant, which allowed me to visit lots of new resorts and see the sheer variety of options out there, from the extent of skiing available in Whistler, Canada, to the luxury of St. Moritz in Switzerland. After working in Sales for a few years, I made the decision to move to the Operations team here at Ski Solutions, and have been working with the wonderful team here ever since.
Best Moment
It has to be the Sommelier on the slopes experience in the Dolomites, where you ski from hut to hut with a professional sommelier and taste some of the amazing South Tyrolean wines.
Top Tip
If you are skiing in the early or late season choose one of the higher altitude resorts for more reliable snow conditions.
