Mixed Ability Resorts
It doesn’t have to be difficult planning a holiday for skiers who range in ability. Our experts can advise you on the perfect trip for your group’s needs.
Après Ski
Après ski is an essential part of any ski holiday. We have chosen our favourite experiences and spots for groups.
Plenty of Choice
When you travel as a group, it’s important to cater to everyone’s needs. Luckily there are plenty of accommodation options for groups.
Booking out a whole ski chalet for a large group is brilliant fun. After a day on the mountain, return to a private space where you and your friends or family can relax together and catch up on the days antics. Having the chalet to yourselves gives a real home from home feel and better yet, the freedom to do things your way.
Group Ski Accommodation
Select a catered chalet for your group; with no need to cook and clean, it is the easy choice for those travelling in a group. Or, perhaps you need more flexibility with meal times and menus; select self-catered to ensure the smooth running of your group ski holiday.

Group Holiday FAQs
Firstly, before getting in touch we would strongly advise reaching out to your group and deciding on date, and more importantly budget. Once this has been determined, you can then select your ideal ski resort. If you are travelling with children, or with a mixed-ability group, it’s good to have a ski resort in mind that suits everyone. You then can decide on the accommodation type and board basis. If you’re unsure, then that’s where our ski experts can help. You may want an all-inclusive hotel, a catered chalet, or a do-it-yourself self-catered apartment; it really is up to what fits your needs. Read our full guide on how to plan a ski holiday.
If you’re travelling with a mixed-ability group, we always advise choosing a big, all-rounder ski resort. Areas such as Avoriaz in France are an excellent choice for beginners and the more advanced. Similarly, Obergurgl in Austria, Sestriere in Italy, and Zermatt in Switzerland are great European choices. Across the pond, we recommend visiting Vail in the USA, or Whistler in Canada for the perfect mixed-ability group getaway. For more inspiration, read our guide on mixed-ability ski holidays.
Any time! It all depends on your group and what suits their calendar. If you are travelling with children, you will most likely be looking at the peak weeks of Christmas, New Year, February Half Term, and Easter (so get booking as early as possible!). If you aren’t travelling with children, you can look at dates that avoid the busier periods. January and March are a great time to travel for a group that doesn’t need to align to school holidays.
If you are after a lively location, it’s got to be one of the après capitals of the ski world; St. Anton, Val d’Isère, Mayrhofen, Verbier and Aspen Snowmass. Expect to ski hard and party even harder when you visit these vibrant destinations. Whether you want to socialise at a bar, or dance the night away into the early morning, these ski resorts offer a lot of options. Discover our best après ski resorts.
As soon as you have agreed on budget, date, and location. One can determine the others, so it’s good to have everyone in agreement before beginning your search. Booking in advance has huge benefits, not only will you have access to early-booking offers, but you will also have a higher chance of securing your first pick of date, resort, and accommodation. Read our blog on how to plan a group ski trip – it’s best to get ahead to avoid any disappointment!
Group ski lessons are available, whether you are a complete beginner or in the more-advanced category. To ensure you secure a group ski lesson together, it is imperative that you are all at the same ski level. Lessons tend to get booked up, especially for larger groups, so we advise getting in touch with our Client Services team to guarantee your group lesson booking.
Yes, we should be able to add individuals to bookings at a later date, dependent on availability. However, the price may be different from that paid by the original group.
If this occurs and you can find a replacement, we should be able to do a name change. If someone from the booking can no longer go and therefore must cancel, there will be a charge. This may affect the price for the remaining group balance.
