    St. Johann is a quaint and charming spot for a ski holiday in Austria, set close by to the renowned Kitzbühel ski resort. The town itself has a classic Tyrolean aesthetic, with traditional buildings and pretty churches dusted with snow. The atmosphere is laid back, with several restaurants and après ski spots peppered around the resort.

    This area is a real hit with families, with plenty of activities to be enjoyed both on and off the slopes. The St. Johann ski area is packed full of everything you could need for a ski holiday. There is a fantastic nursery area for kids and those finding their ski legs. More experienced skiers can enjoy the range of blue and red slopes that flow through the resort. St. Johann’s is part of the Tyrol ski area, which offers access to an abundance of varied slopes and off-piste adventures if visitors wish to explore further afield.

There is one black slope that is highly regarded by ski experts and locals alike. Experienced skiers and snowboarders also have plenty of off-piste to enjoy.

    A long, steep and challenging run that starts from the top of the Penzing chairlift.
