    Ski Areas in Claviere

    With access to nearly 400km of slopes and elevated between 1,350 and 2,823 metres, the Claviere proves a popular ski resort, especially for families. From resort, it is easy to access the Milky Way Circuit that includes other ski areas of Sestriere and Sauze d’Oulx. Additionally, there is also access to ski over the border to the French ski resort of Montgenevre. With such a vast area to explore, queues are a rarity and you’ll enjoy relatively empty slopes too.

    There is plenty to challenge intermediate skiers, with spectacular red and black runs that run high and open, as well as lower ones that offer narrow, wooded trails. Whilst known for being a ski resort for more experienced skiers, the quiet nursery slopes and excellent ski school make Claviere a great choice for groups with beginners in the party.

    Tree chutes, groomed pistes, off-piste areas and a snowpark make Claviere an excellent ski resort for all types of boarders. Freeriders will enjoy the black runs available in resort and additionally the easy access to the Milky Way Circuit to explore further terrain. The snow park features jumps and a half pipe for freestylers, and for carvers the expansive red and blue runs are perfect. Beginners are also catered for with blue runs for easy learning.
