Lenzerheide Resort can be considered one of Switzerland’s best ski resorts, guaranteeing snow-sure conditions for the whole ski season. Lenzerheide, connected to the popular ski holiday region of Arosa, offers 225 pristine slopes at an altitude of 2,865m above sea level.

Its high valleys have become a paradise for snow sport lovers with several snowpark areas for all abilities and expert freeriding tours. Adrenaline junkies can get their fix in the untouched deep snow and steep couloirs, where the well-known freeride mountains of Parpan Rothorn and Arosa Weisshorn await their visit.

Lenzerheide is also perfect for family ski holidays with plenty of children’s facilities, family slopes and gentle blues. Child-friendly ski areas are easy to reach, free of charge and very slightly sloped making learning playful and fun, while numerous family slopes can be found on the Heidbüel/Scalottas side of the valley. You might even bump into the Swiss mascot Globi who will give you a tip or two!

The Arosa Lenzerheide ski area has become the biggest connected ski area of the Canton of Grisons, since the resorts of Arosa and Lenzerheide were connected in 2014. From Mount Weisshorn via Hörnli to Mount Stätzerhorn and beyond to Piz Scalottas, two valleys and 3 sunny sides offer unforgettable mountain experiences.

The ski season generally starts at the end of October/beginning of November in Lenzerheide, when you will be treated to lots of sun and zero fog. As soon as ski conditions allow, it is possible to ski and snowboard every single weekend. A variety of wide slopes and steep hills make Lenzerheide great for carvers, but the resort still provides slopes for every ability from beginners to intermediates and advanced skiers – with some amazing off-piste opportunities for the pros.

If you’re looking for somewhere to sit and have a relaxing drink in the sun with friends, the Sil Mot is a cosy meeting place at the edge of the Sartons-Valbella piste. Or, if you’re searching for something more up-beat, Kuhbar, Carmenna Hut and The Cottage are renowned for being real après hot spots with the coolest parties in town.

At 2,323m altitude, the Mountain Restaurant in Piz Scalottas offers down-to-earth cuisine and seasonal delicacies for you to enjoy whilst looking out over panoramic views. If you’re in the mood for something simpler, you could head to Scharmoin located at the Rothorn middle station, which serves delicious and uncomplicated food. Or, for something more upmarket, Restaurant Crest’Ota is perfect, with gourmet culinary creations.

From biathlons or snowshoeing to tobogganing and ice hockey, Lenzerheide has it all. The new ‘Light Ride’ attraction is an exciting night sledding experience, with multisensory light installations and music which follows you the whole way down the valley. Group activities such as ziplining, curling and a fox trail scavenger hunt are also up for offer.
